Yoshihiro Hosokawa Nagata dish ceramic piece (botamochi)

Sale price¥14,300

When I listen to Mr. Yoshihiro Hosokawa, I often hear the word "personality of the soil."

Even in the same prep soil, differences appear in baked works such as how to color and shrinkage rate.

The work, which expresses its "personality of the soil" in one piece, is naturally worked out.

The work that is made without kneading the clay and not strained is one of the pieces, and various pieces of soil show the expression.

A slight yellow nuance appears between red and white, and breaks by pebbles are also seen.

This work is a container that comes to the top when cooking the kiln, so the traces of the tool soil are round.

The scorching of the ash seen on the edge, the reddish brown of the straw, and the white or light red color of the soil give depth to the work.
